Ben Thomas - Judge for the weekend

New Zealand Secondary School Case Competition(NZSSCC) ran very successfully during the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd with the help of Crimson Youth Fund. 12 teams consisting of 4 team members attended the event from across New Zealand-Auckland, Hamilton, and Wellington. The participants gave positive feedback regarding the event's profound and academical cases, detailed judging feedback, and the overall structure. Jarrod actively reached out to me to assist with the organising process. He organised the sponsorship money, which is used as prize money for the winning team and a judge: Ben who gave active and insightful feedback to the team. Overall, NZSSCC would not have run as smoothly without the help of Crimson Youth Fund. The committee is very pleased with the result of the event!

Crimson sponsored printing costs for programmes & lanyards

The Crimson Youth Fund helped to make our event a success by covering the costs of our programmes and lanyards. Aligned with the environmental theme of our conference, Crimson assisted us in printing our materials on recycled paper, giving delegates and volunteers a clear outline as to what was in store for the rest of the day, information about the speakers and workshop facilitators, as well as a way to sign-in and identify attendees on site. Our Youth Fund mentor, Jarrod, was INCREDIBLE! Two weeks out from the event, we were struggling for numbers with around 20 registrations. Support from Jarrod was invaluable in giving us confidence in our abilities to pull off the event, as well as providing us with advice from his own event experiences.

Crimson Education has been one of our very first and most dedicated sponsors. Their donation to our organisation, TEDx talks, has allowed us to hold our 2019 annual TEDxYouth@ReddamHouse event.
Their funding was allocated to essential areas of the event including financing, marketing campaigns, renting tech equipment and providing food for guests.and has contributed immeasurably to its success.
Applying for the Crimson Youth Fund has enabled us, simply a small group of enthusiastic youth, to make our vision a reality and a success. Bringing TEDxYouth@ReddamHouse 2019 to life has been one of the richest learning experiences that the young members of our organisation have been involved in.
